Sensory Spectrum will open big lab at Research Campus

KANNAPOLIS — A product research and testing firm will open an 11,000 square-foot laboratory at the N.C. Research Campus.

Sensory Spectrum should move in early next month, said Clyde Higgs, business recruiter for Research Campus developer Castle & Cooke North Carolina. The company will occupy the old K&W Cafeteria space on Oak Avenue next to Family Dollar.

The Kannapolis Foy and Gertrude Hinson History Room of the Charles A. Cannon Memorial Library, which is a Cabarrus County Public Library Branch, has been in existence for more than 10 years. We have people come in frequently and say, “I did not know this was here.” It is one of the small treasures of Kannapolis now being enjoyed by many.
