Woman fears neighbor hacked into her computer

A Kannapolis woman suspects a neighbor of linking into her home computer’s router June 26 and then accessing the computer’s hard drive, according to the Rowan County Sheriff’’s office.

It wasn’t known if the suspect had obtained information from the computer.

In other Sheriff’s Office reports from the Kannapolis-south Rowan area include:

• Jeffrey Harold Smith, 45, was charged June 26 with possession of a Schedule V controlled substance at 1750 Rollingwood Drive, Kannapolis.

• Erica Brittney Goodman, 23, was charged June 26 with felony breaking and entering motor vehicles at the Kannapolis Police Department.

• Kristie Lynn Boger, 34, was charged June 26 with disorderly conduct at 2613 McGill St., Kannapolis.

• Matthew George Bradley, 22, was charged June 29 with failure to appear on earlier charge, resisting an officer and possession of marijuana at Berkhampstead and Castlegate ways in China Grove. He was being held in the Rowan County Detention Center on $1,200 bond.

• Walter Lee Daugherty, 38, was charged June 27 with larceny and misdemeanor larceny at 232 Norma Ave., Kannapolis. He was being held on $600 bond in the Rowan jail.

• Mickey Allen Jenkins, 44, was charged June 29 with felony possession of a Schedule III controlled substance at 2285 W. N.C. 152, China Grove.

• Kelley Annette Wright, 43, was charged June 29 with felony possession of a Schedule III controlled substance at 2285 W. N.C. 152, China Grove.

• Laura A. Hoffner, 950 Corriher Springs Road, China Grove, reported the theft  a $900 flat-screen television, a $50 camera flashcard and a can of Mountain Dew from her home on June 30 during the day. The suspect caused $150 damage to a door and frame.

• Andrew W. Ervin, 116 Dogwood Drive, China Grove, reported a burglar used a key to enter his home July 1 and steal items valued at $1,560.
