Phil Brent Loflin

GRANITE QUARRY — Phillip “Phil” Brent Loflin, 38,  Granite Quarry died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, at his residence. Mr. Loflin was born on Sept. 26, 1970, in Rowan County. A graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High School and Rowan-Cabarrus Community College and a licensed electrician, Mr. Loflin was an active member of New Haven Baptist Church. Survivors include mother Patty Echerd Bost and stepfather, Brian, China Grove; father Billy Loflin and stepmother Barbara, Rockwell; grandmother Dot Echerd, Granite Quarry; stepbrother Adam Bost, Concord; stepsisters Jennifer Ashley, Enochville, Leann Lambert, Concord, and Carrie Stewart, Hartsville, S.C. Services were Friday, Oct. 17, 2008, at Powles Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Franklin D. Johnson. Burial,  Brookhill Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials: New Haven Baptist Church, 3440 N.C.  152, Rockwell, NC 28138.
