Harold Nowlin

RICHFIELD — Harold Ray Nowlin, 70, formerly of Milford, Conn., died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, at his home. Born March 28, 1938, in Columbia, Mo., he was the son of the late John H. and Lovenia Sims Nowlin. He was a construction contractor and retired as owner and operator of Jones Motor Freight. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and of Bethel United Church of Christ.  Survivors include wife Linda Santora Nowlin; daughter Yvonne Mary Frances Stull, Columbia, Mo.; sons Timothy Ray Nowlin, Hallsville, Mo., Gregory Joseph Nowlin, Milford, Conn., Colin Thomas, Paul Cary and John Clinton Nowlin, all of Concord; sisters Linda Morris and Kay Jackson, both of Missouri, and Norma Johnson, Burnsville; brother Johnny Nowlin, Missouri; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  A service was held Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008, at Bethel United Church of Christ, Mount Pleasant, conducted by the Rev.
