Big Elm retirement reports young woman takes cash

 

Big Elm Retirement and Nursing Home reported on Dec. 4 that a 19-year-old female took money and converted it for her own use. In other reports from the Kannapolis Police Department:

• Jessica Hager, 19, 131 Madison Place Circle; embezzlement, $200  bond; Dec 4.

• Wesley Frye, 27, 9924 Starwood Avenue; careless and reckless driving, driving while impaired with .19 alcohol level; hit and run, resisting public officer, speeding to elude arrest, and speeding 95 in a 65 mph zone; $10,000 bond; Dec. 4.

• On Dec. 1, Arby’s 7961 reported someone took deposit money during drop off. 

• On Dec. 1, Shirley Broome reported someone used her ATM card without permission. 

• On Dec. 1, D.W. Homes, Inc. reported someone removed construction materials.

• On Dec. 1, Holiday Finance Inc. reported someone broke windows in several vehicles located on the premises.

• On Nov. 22, Moses Hankinson, 32, 3238 Penny Early Lane, Kannapolis, reported someone entered a residence at 10996 Busbin Road and removed copper wiring. A sheetrock wall also suffered damage. Total value and damages estimated at $13,000; Barringer.

• On Nov. 23, Todd Brooks, a representative of Lowe’s Food, 4475 NC Hwy 49, Harrisburg, reported someone removed a shopping cart full of groceries from the store without paying.; Deputy Harless. 

• On Nov. 23, Christine Kicinski, 48, 8512 Quay Farm Court, Harrisburg, reported someone broke into her residence and removed car keys, subsequently removing her 1999 Chrysler. Value of car is $8,000; Deputy Edwards.

• On Nov. 23, Minnie Lucas Taylor, 91, 4665 Lucas Court, Harrisburg, reported someone damaged the headlights and taillights on her 1989 Nissan while it was parked at her residence.  Damage is estimated at $500; Deputy Edwards.

• On Nov. 24, Vanessa Chambers reported someone removed 60 hydracodone tablets from a secure mobile cart located inside the business sometime between Oct. 30 and Nov. 21; Isenhour. 

• On Nov. 24, Elizabeth Lowe Porter, 70, 2850 Parks Lafferty Road, Concord, reported someone may have taken her 7-year-old Tennessee walking horse, valued at $5,500, from the pasture area of her property; Deputy Logan.
