Marketing seminar coming up in China Grove

The Small Business Center (SBC) at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College will host a free marketing seminar April 6 in China Grove.

                Sherre DeMao, owner of an award-winning marketing firm in Denver, N.C., will present the free seminar, “How Do I Market My Small Business,” at the South Rowan Regional Library, at 6:30 p.m.

                DeMao’s firm, SLD Unlimited Marketing/PR Inc., has won numerous design awards, including the Telly, ProAd, PICA, Addy and IABC Crown. She is a sought-after marketing speaker and a small business advocate. DeMao is working on a book titled, “Me, Myself & Inc: A Synergized World, An Energized Business, Living Your Ultimate Life.”

The Small Business Center at RCCC is a community-based provider of education, training, counseling, information and referral, assisting entrepreneurs with business ideas and existing small business ventures.

SBC seminars cover a broad range of small business topics, including business start-ups, business financing, marketing, internet business, business growth and development, taxes, recordkeeping and customer service.
