RCCC summer classes

The Human Resources Development (HRD) Program at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College will offer multiple, short-term computer and medical office skills classes during the summer months.
Class fees are $55; however, individuals who are unemployed may qualify for a tuition waiver. Classes are offered at multiple sites, including RCCC’s North Campus and Goodwill Industries in Salisbury, RCCC’s South Campus and Cabarrus Business & Technology Center in Concord, and the Cloverleaf Plaza in Kannapolis.
To register and receive a complete class listing, call RCCC’s Continuing Education Department at 704-216-3545. The class schedule includes:
• Introduction to Computers: classes beginning in May, June, July and August;
• Computer Empowerment: classes beginning in May, June July and August;
• Keyboarding Lab: classes beginning in May and July;
• Medical Terminology: classes beginning in May and July; and
• Medical Office Skills: classes beginning in May, June and July.
HRD provides short-term, pre-employment training and counseling designed for unemployed and under-employed adults. Classes are designed to help adult learners conduct job searches, build skills needed for employment, explore career options and learn basic computer skills.
