Larry Wayne Long

Larry Wayne Long, 60, 9494 Dogwood Drive, Kannapolis, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at his residence.
Born Feb. 12, 1948, in Burke County, he was a son of the late William Henry Clay and Pearl Mae Keller Long. He graduated from A.L. Brown High School and served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He had formerly been employed by Cannon Mills, where he worked in the machine shop.
Survivors include brother Willard Marion Long, Landis; and sisters Mary Clay Adams, China Grove, and Emalee Catherine Klomp, Utah.
A graveside service was held Thursday, March 27, 2008, at West Lawn Memorial Park.
